Social marketing for a better world

DKT is one of the largest private providers of family planning and reproductive health products and services in the developing world, serving 30 million couples in 2015, and preventing over 5 million unwanted pregnancies, 13,694 maternal deaths, and 2.6 million abortions.

Since 1989, the nonprofit organization DKT International has been promoting family planning and HIV/AIDS prevention through social marketing. DKT has 21 programs in 19 countries and in 2015 it provided and sold almost 663 million condoms, 74 million cycles of oral contraceptives, over 25 million injectable contraceptives, 1.9 million IUDs, and about 5 million misoprostol pills.
