DKT is one of the most cost-effective family planning organizations in the world, providing products and services to couples at less than $2 per year. Our headquarters expenses are less than 2% of total budget.

DKT provided 24.5 million couple years of protection in 2011. This represents some 6% of all contracepting couples in the developing world, excluding China.

DKT programs averted 7 million unwanted pregnancies, 1.4 million abortions, and nearly 12,000 maternal deaths in 2011.
