Dear Friend of DKT,
With deep sadness, DKT announces the sudden passing of DKT Ethiopia Country Director, Michael Evans, on June 10, 2021. Michael was a passionate and energetic professional and spent the last 7 years working with DKT in Ethiopia and Vietnam. He believed deeply in the freedom and empowerment that access to contraception brought to the women and men in those countries, and worked tirelessly to make that access a reality. He loved challenges and developing solutions to problems, and was quick to find humor and goodness in the difficulties that he encountered. He will be greatly missed by DKT colleagues across the globe.
