In 2017, DKT International acquired the rights to the Ipas manual vacuum aspiration (MVA) technology. DKT WomanCare Global was established in 2018 as a wholly owned subsidiary of DKT International.
DKT WomanCare Global serves providers in the public and private sectors, working closely with leading manufacturers to expand access, availability, and affordability of contraception and safe abortion products at the global level.
DKT WomanCare Global is the exclusive global distributor and marketer of the Ipas MVA technology in 100 countries around the world. The Ipas MVA is the world’s most utilized, safe and effective surgical abortion technology, also used for miscarriage management, post abortion care and endometrial biopsy.
DKT WomanCare Global’s portfolio has expanded to include a range of reproductive health products. DKT is the exclusive global distributor and marketer of Levoplant (a 3-year, WHO-Prequalified contraceptive implant), several IUDs (AVIBELA, Etherena, Eloira and Silverline), Postpil® (emergency contraception), and Injecta-Fem® (injectable contraception). DKT also sells medical abortion products.

DKT WomanCare partners with Incepta Pharmaceuticals, Ltd. to register, supply, promote, and sell Injecta-fem and Medogen, WHO Prequalified intramuscular contraceptive injections effective for 3 months.
