DKT Philippines was established in 1991 with the launch of TRUST condoms, making it one of DKT's first programs. Today, DKT’s TRUST brand is a leading condom.
The enterprise is self-sustainable and remits revenues from product sales to DKT International’s headquarters. As a not-for-profit, these revenues are reinvested into DKT’s programming in low-income countries. Some revenues are used locally to fund outreach activities.
DKT supplies an estimated 50% of the contraceptives used in the Philippines, playing a crucial role in the country’s reproductive health landscape. DKT’s Service Outreach and Distribution Extension (SODEX) Mobile Clinic is the country's first ambulatory clinic delivering contraception. SODEX expands access to high-quality, modern contraceptive methods by bringing them directly to Flipinos in remote areas, free of charge.
DKT Philippines' strategic priorities include preventing rising rates of HIV/AIDS and teenage pregnancy, which was declared a national priority in 2021. DKT runs various educational campaigns to increase condom use for HIV/AIDS prevention and long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARC) for long-term protection for young women and adolescents. DKT trains doctors, midwives, and community health volunteers to provide IUDs and implants.

Levoplant is a form of long-acting reversible contraception that is effective for up to 3 years. DKT Philippines works with DKT WomanCare to market Levoplant and build provider capacity to insert and remove it.
