Contraception is considered one of the most cost-effective investments an individual can make to improve their health or development partners can provide to support their beneficiaries. DKT lives out this commitment every day by ensuring women and men have the information, training, and products they need to determine their reproductive destinies.
DKT’s scale and impact is significant. We are one of the largest providers of contraception and safe abortion products, services, and technology in the world. Our work produces results that are quantifiable: in 2021, DKT averted nearly 10.5 million unintended pregnancies, 8.3 million unsafe abortions, and 28,500 maternal deaths.
DKT also delivers this impact in a very affordable and cost-effective way, making our cause a good investment for your donation. 75% of our operating costs are covered with our sales revenues, meaning that your donation goes where it is most needed. Our global overhead costs are less than 2% of our budget and our fundraising budget is less than .2%
